The closing date for receipt of applications to the school for September 2017 is Friday 30th September 2016. Any applications received after this date will be deemed as a late application.

Osclóidh an scoil ar an Máirt 30/08/2016 ar a 8:50r.n. Tá cead ag tuismitheoirí Naíonáin Shóisearacha amháin teacht isteach sa rang ar an gcéad dá lá. Is féidir do pháiste a fhágáil sa líne ar an gclós ansin ón Déardaoin an 1ú Meán Fómhar ar aghaidh.
The school will open at 8:50 on Tuesday 30/08/2016. Parents of Junior Infants are welcome to come into the classroom on the first two days only. Please leave your child in their line in the school yard from Thursday the 1st September. It is easier to settle the children this way.
Do na Naíonáin Shóisreacha níl aon rud ag teastáil sa mhála ach lón beag. Is féidir leo aon dath bróga reatha a chaitheamh le velcro orthu. Le do thoil ná cuir bróga l'iallacha orthu.
Junior Infants need only their lunch box in their bags. The school provides all crayons, pencils etc. They can wear any colour runners with a velcro fastening. Please do not put shoes with laces on them. Please label all coats, jumpers etc.

Junior Infants will go home at 12 noon each day until the 9th of September, they will then go home at 13:30.

Senior Infants will go home at 13:30 from the start.
- Rachaidh Rang 1 & Rang 2 abhaile ar 13:30 ar an 30ú agus 31ú agus ón 1ú Meán Fómhair rachaidh siad abhaile ar a 14:30i.n.
Rang 1 & Rang 2 will go home at 13:30 on the 30th and 31st and at 14:30 from the 1st of September.

Seachtain na Gaeilge 2016
Cuairt ó pháistí ó Ghaelscoil Chnoc Liamhna agus Firhouse Educate Together, cóisir le Cúla Búla parties.
Beidh searmanas speisialta againn ar an 15ú Márta chun brat na hÉireann a ardú sa scoil. Tá fáilte roimh thuismitheoirí agus seantuismitheoirí teacht. Tosnóidh an tsearmanas ar 10:00r.n. a chlog. Ba mhaith linn go léifidh tuismitheoirí/sean tuismitheoirí an forógra. Beidh na páistí i Rang a haon ag scríobh a bhforógra féin agus léifidh siad é seo dúinn chomh maith. Beidh tae agus caifé ar fáil i seomra a 4 do thuismitheoirí tar éis an searmanais. Más féidir libh sóláistí a thabhairt sibh féin, nó a dhéanamh le dathanna brat na hÉireann orthu!
We will hold a special raising of the Irish flag ceremony on the 15th of March to commemorate the Easter Rising. All parents/grandparents are invited to this ceremony. The children in Rang 1 will be writing their own proclamation and they will also read this out. There will be tea and coffee available for parents in Seomra 4 after the ceremony. Could you bring your own buns/cakes perhaps with the colours of the Irish flag on them!

There will be an information meeting held in the Community Centre at 8:30 pm on Tuesday the 1st of September to discuss the permanent building plans for our school. Can at least one member from every family attend?
